The Economics Department at UC San Diego is committed to building an excellent and diverse faculty, staff, and student body, and invites applications from candidates whose experience has prepared them to contribute to our commitment. The Department invites applications for one or more Lecturer positions. The Department is looking for candidates in all fields, with a preference for candidates who can teach a wide variety of economics courses, at both the principles and intermediate level. The Lecturer will teach depending on the needs of the department. Duties include instruction of courses on topics related to Economic Studies.
PhD in Economics or in a closely related field
Experience teaching (at least 1 year of experience)
Experience teaching large classroom sizes (100-300 students) (at least 1 year of experience)
Breadth of teaching across different fields within economics
